IMPORTANT BLOG ANNOUNCEMENT

PLEASE CHANGE YOUR BOOKMARKS AND FEEDS TO THE NEW URL, THEYANKEEU.COM. TYU IS IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THE NEW YORK YANKEES OR YANKEES UNIVERSE.

According to ESPN (ticker at the bottom of the Texas-LSU College World Series Game), CC Sabathia told the New York Post that the biceps tendinitis that caused him to get removed early in yesterday’s game will not keep him from making his next start on Friday, against the Mets.

This is excellent news, as it is always scary to see your ace get pulled early from a game.  Hopefully, the Yankees will take it a little easier with Sabathia this outing, and maybe not let him throw as many pitches or innings as they would usually do, to give him a little extra rest.  The Yankee Universe can finally exhale.

Yeah, this is nice to hear. With the questions the Yanks have in the rotation, losing CC would have been bad.
